Whether it's literature, movies, or graphic novels, I absolutely enjoy the horror genre. The same can't be said for True Crime. I've watched a few documentaries and listened to a dozen or so podcast episodes and I can say that while it has that sort of "can't look away" pull, I don't seek out the genre. There's a lot of overlap in the fandoms of the two genres, and I've been asked why I like one but not the other. This quote from Brian K Vaughan's Saga sums it up perfectly.
